“Tazama Nia”
Girls with Vision-Africa has changed their name to “Tazama Nia” which means to look ahead with anticipation in Swahili. This team of volunteers have responded to the incredible need surrounding women in the community of N’gando in Nairobi, Kenya which often means helping women leave domestic abuse, sex trafficking and other dangerous situations. The women are taught beading projects, or other skills to start businesses that help them become independent, and find jobs that pay fair wages in the community.
