Diez 42

Diez 42, located in Málaga, Spain, is a center that helps immigrants and refugees integrate into the community through language classes, job training, and various activities. Many women struggle to find traditional employment, as native Spaniards do not like to hire immigrants and refugees. In 2019, Elevāt was invited to support the center by providing sewing training and patterns to help form a women's co-op. Women from a variety of nations gather weekly to create bracelets, scarves, and dusters to sell to Elevāt and others to earn money for their family.
