Handmade in Nairobi, Kenya
Located in the Kawangware slum in Nairobi, Kenya, this community is formed by people who are HIV positive. Often, these people are shunned by society and even their families. Their leader, Margaret, teaches the community how to make products to sell at the nearby market. These products pay for their basic needs and are made from recycled materials.
