Could you explain what FAIR TRADE means in simple terms? We use the term “Fair Trade” often but realize that some don’t really know what it fully means. At its very core, Fair trade is a worldwide movement that aims to help farmers and producers in less economically developed countries. The term fair trade means that they received a fair price for the goods that they produce. As we wrap up fair trade month, we are honored to continue to be a part of this movement and offer fair prices for the fashion we purchase from artisans in the developing world. We then pass along these handmade lovelies to our customers in the USA who value this ethical process and desire to do good with their purchases.
